Rev. Richard H. Francis, M.A.,
President

Rev. Francis began his career in the business world working as a manager and director of operations. God led him to ministry at Fellowship Bible Church in Chester, N.H. where he has served as Associate and Senior Pastor for 15 years. From 2001 to 2005 Rev. Francis was a trustee of NEBC, serving as chairman of the board for one year. As of January 2007 he has broughts to the office of President this unique combination of business and ministry experience.
Dr. Jack Christensen, Chancellor

Dr. Christensen has been in ministry for more than 54 years. He served twelve years as a missionary in Pakistan with the Conservative Baptist Foreign Mission Society followed by fourteen years as a pastor. During his time as a pastor, Dr. Christensen also served as the first president of NEBC from 1980 to 1984. Dr. Christensen returned to work with CBInternational as a representative for fifteen years. Since “retirement” he has worked at the college as Vice President of Program Development. He was appointed Chancellor of the college in 2003.
Peter Hasbrouck, M.A. - Interim Academic Dean and Associate Professor of Historical and Theological Studies

Peter and his family served as missionaries to Ecuador from 1988 to 1999 with the Gospel Missionary Union. There he taught Theology and Church History and served as Academic Dean at the Seminario Theológico Evangélico de los Andes. Peter is a member of the American Society of Church History and the Evangelical Theological Society. He is currently a student in the Ph.D. program in the History of Christianity at Boston University.
Rae Jean Webber, Registrar

Rae Jean has had the opportunity to serve on short term missions in South America and Canada. She also served for three years as a tent-maker missionary with her husband in Taiwan. She and her family continue to serve in inner-city and ethnic ministry in Portland, ME. Rae Jean has worked in a variety of administrative positions since 1981.

Josh is teaching our Greek and Hebrew courses, as well as courses in biblical studies. He is continuing his studies in biblical languages at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Wayne C. Raychard, D. Min. - Professor of Missions

Wayne spent 16 years in Kenya as a missionary, 13 of which were with CBInternational as a church planter with an Islamic tribal group. He is currently working in a local church planting ministry.

Roger Blundell, M.Div. -

RRoger has been involved in pastoral ministries for over 30 years. He is presently serving as pastor of the Woolwich-Wiscassett Baptist Church in Woolwich, Maine.
David A. Christensen, D.Min. - Associate Professor of Pastoral Studies

David has served the College since 1984 in a variety of positions, including Dean of Students and Academic Dean. He has served in two interim pastorates and has been Pastor of Galilee Baptist Church (Gorham, ME) since 1990.

Joyce Raychard, B.S. - Instructor in Humanities

Joyce home schooled her children while serving in Kenya with her husband Wayne for 12 years. She now works as an artist and as a supply teacher in the public school system.
ADJUNCT INSTRUCTORS
Dr. David Lambertson, D. Min. - Adjunct Associate Professor of Theology

David began teaching at Big Sky Bible College in Montana. He joined the faculty at NEBC in 1982. David has nearly thirty years experience teaching college classes in Bible and theology, as well as in church ministry. He has recently been involved in a church planting venture in North Yarmouth, Maine.
Anne MacDonald, M.S. - Adjunct Instructor of English Language

Anne taught high school English for three years in Shaker Heights, Ohio, and for seventeen years at Greater Portland Christian School. She has also taught various women's Bible studies, and led workshops and been a speaker for women's retreats.
Joshua Otte, M.Div.

Josh is the associate pastor of Windham Baptist Church. He has a passion for teaching about “corporate worship” in light of God’s total plan and purpose for His people, the use of the Old Testament in the New Testament, and Biblical Theology.
C. Betsy Paulding, M.A. - Adjunct Instructor in Women's Ministry

Betsy serves as Director of Women’s Ministries at First Baptist Church, Portland, ME, where she and her husband are also the lead couple for the Marriage Enrichment Team. She is a conference speaker on women’s ministry and conflict resolution and is listed with Vision New England. She has also assisted other churches in developing women's ministries. Betsy works as a licensed clinical professional counselor and does per diem nursing work in a clinic.
Joanne Waliszek, M.Ed. - Adjunct Instructor of English Language

Joanne taught for 24 years at all levels, from kindergarten through high school in both public and Christian school settings. More recently she has been involved in short-term missions and teaching including a class in public speaking at the Fairview Baptist Bible College in Westmoreland, Jamaica.
