Dear Alumni:

How I thank the Lord for all of you who have so graciously and faithfully prayed for me. Rejoice with me in the Lord's answer to our prayers! Thank you also for your emails and cards. They have meant much to me. These past several months have been a real challenge. In addition to the diagnosis and treatment of an environmental bacteria in the lungs (3 antibiotics daily for up to 2 years) I also had a brief stay in the hospital in December for a low sodium problem and now an 8 day stay in the hospital for a serious breathing problem due to the bronchial tubes filling up. But praise the Lord I came home this past Tuesday.

Throughout this time of being set aside, I have been much in prayer for you, the students, the Faculty, Trustees and our faithful supporters. How I have been encouraged with how so many are rolling up their sleeves and going the "extra mile" or doing the "extra thing" or giving the "extra gift" to make sure NEBC continues to make progress towards the goal of a viable strong BIble College in New England to meet the growing needs at home and abroad.

Your willingness to come together today with Dave Maguire (President of Alumni Assoc) and Josh Libby (Faculty member) to interact, exchange ideas and initiate possible plans to achieve the above mentioned goals thrills my heart. Though I am a bit disappointed that I cannot be with you, I do want you to know how proud I am of you.

Your efforts to strengthen the NEBC Alumni Assoc. will indeed produce:

1. A greater visibility of the College.

2. Hopefully additional prayer and financial support.

3. Enhance our position for regional accreditation when we are ready to apply for it.

4. Encourge more students enrollment etc.

With Alumni Phil Andrukaitis on the Board of Trustees we have a spokesman  for our Alumni suggestions, recommendations and concerns.  I shall be looking forward with keen interest your thoughts, comments and  decisions. Thanks for your continued prayer support for the Search  Committee as they seek the one of God's own choosing to be the next full-time President of the College. May the Lord bless you and give you a  precious time of fellowship together.

Grace and Peace,

Jack Christensen
