LIBRARY CATALOGUE

When you click on the Online Catalogue, the words "To Search For a Book" appear.
Underneath, there are two fields: "Keywords" and "Search By". Everything underneath these fields can be ignored.

We have had a generous programmer create this program for us, and data entry volunteers entering in book data, so this catalogue has a few features which are different than many online catalogues.

• Book results appear in marc tag format. Line 949 indicates the location in the library.
• This is an exhaustive catalogue of the contents of the NEBC library, but not an automated one. This means if a book is checked out, it will still appear in the online catalogue.
• If a book isn't found, then the webpage will simply return as an empty webpage. Simply hit the back arrow and try a different search.
• "Fuzzy" searches don't work. If a word is misspelled in the catalogue or in the Search field, then the search will return an empty webpage.
• It is possible to search using "title", "author", or "subject". However, it is far easier to simply search by the default "all" setting.
• Hint: Less is more. Don't enter "Ryrie, Charles" under "author". Simply enter "Ryrie" under the default "all" setting.
