MINISTRY ESSENTIALS COHORT

2 Year Ministry Essentials Cohort

Equipping men for faithful discipleship, biblical service, and ministry leadership in the local church.

Faithfully shepherding a church is both a profound calling and a significant responsibility. Yet ministry can also be demanding and, at times, lonely. Whether serving in a rural community, a small town, or a city, pastors and ministry leaders often carry the weight of caring for others while navigating the demands of work, family, and everyday life. For those serving bi-vocationally, these responsibilities can be especially challenging. Even when the desire to grow in biblical understanding and ministry skill is strong, accessing formal seminary training may not be practical.

New England Bible College & Seminary has designed Ministry Essentials as a two-year equipping cohort to help you build the biblical and theological foundations, practical ministry skills, and philosophy of ministry needed for faithful, sustainable leadership in the local church.

Biblically Grounded. Practically Equipped. Never Alone.

The Cohort Experience:  Ministry leaders are strengthened                                                   when they learn and grow together.

Over two years, participants complete eight courses one at a time and journey together as a cohort, growing in biblical understanding, spiritual maturity, and practical ministry skills.

Rhythms That Fit Your Life

We recognize the demands of ministry, work, and family. The cohort is structured with a manageable workload, including life-giving reading (about half a book per week) and assignments designed to help you apply what you’re learning in your real ministry setting.

Bi-Weekly Zoom Sessions

The cohort gathers live for each course via Zoom every other week.  These sessions are not lectures; they are guided discussions, real-world case studies, and collaborative problem-solving opportunities.
