STACKABLE CERTIFICATE IN BIBLICAL STUDIES

This certificate serves to enhance students' readiness for continued education while simultaneously strengthening their capabilities in biblical study and ministry teaching.

Stackable Certificate in Biblical Studies

ABOUT

This is a focused certificate consisting of 4 courses (12 credit hours). This certificate is a great foundation for formal biblical study in an academic setting.

This certification can be completed in about 1 year of study (depending on course availability). It will better position the student for further education while also increasing capacity for biblical study and teaching in a ministry setting. This completed certificate can be “stacked” along with other certificates, building towards an undergraduate level degree.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (except for dual-enrollment high school students)

  • A completed and accepted application (available online)

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

Every application is reviewed by the admission committee on a case-by-case basis, meaning there are no set minimums for acceptance. However, all applicants must submit the following for admission:

  • Admissions application

  • Non-refundable application fee of $25.00

  • Minimum of two references, one of which must be from the applicant’s pastor, the other(s) from an employer, teacher, or mentor.

  • Applicants may be asked to submit high school or college transcripts and/or test scores.

  • Applicants may be invited to interview prior to admission.

NEBCS has rolling admissions.

 

The recommended application submission date for all degree programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels is August 1 for the Fall Semester, and December 15 for the Spring Semester.

TUITION, FINANCIAL AID & SCHOLARSHIPS

We offer low-cost tuition at  $300/course for in-person/zoom and $450/course for fully asynchronous.

 

We also offer generous financial aid and merit scholarships to ensure all students can attend, regardless of personal finances. If you sincerely desire to attend but are worried about the cost, please talk to one of our advisors.
