Why NEBCS?
Being called to Christian leadership and ministry is no small thing. God is calling you to shepherd His people in a world gone mad. God’s Word says you’ll be led by the Spirit.
Scripture also instructs His servants to seek knowledge and wisdom- to be prepared with education. It is essential to seek wisdom from the Word with the help of teachers who are rooted in Biblical accuracy.
Choices, Choices…
You have many options. Why choose our institution?
Cost
New England Bible College & Seminary provides low cost biblical education to students pursuing a calling in Christian ministry or interest in a deeper understanding of biblical truths. In fact, we are dedicated to being one of the lowest cost Bible colleges in the country.
Class Size
Our small class sizes make for great fellowship and discussion with professors and students. You will be known in our school and by our professors. Our professors want you to learn and succeed in their courses. Our desire is to prepare you for God's call.
Convenience
In person courses: With campuses in South Portland and Bangor, as well as satellite locations around the state, we are likely close to you. In person courses provide a level of fellowship and lively discussion difficult to reproduce with distance learning.
Online Courses: We are currently offering several courses online each semester and plan to expand these offerings in the near future. Take the courses from the convenience of your home, engaging with professors and other students through online discussions.
Schedule: Rather than requiring class attendance multiple days per week, we schedule our classes to meet once a week. Our students find that because of this, they can take class while continuing to work and manage other commitments.
